How Much Auto Insurance Coverage Should Drivers Carry?

i am a college student with very limited income. Should i get liability car insurance or full coverage.

if i get full coverage then it is harder for me to save money but covers the vehicle if somethiing happens. If i get liability it is easier for me to save money but if the car gets wrecked i am screwed??? What should i do?

What is the value of your car?
In most cases if the value is less than $2500 then there is no point in getting full coverage.
If the value is more than $2500 then get the full coverage but have a high deductible (like $1000), that way your premium will be less.
